Setting up your Clover Mini 3

The Clover Mini 3 is the compact all-in-one countertop POS Arca provides — a touchscreen with a built-in receipt printer in one small footprint. It connects through a hub on its base. This guide covers connecting power, powering it on, and loading receipt paper.

What's in the box

Note: In some regions a region-specific power cable is included. The hub carries the Mini's connections — power, USB and Ethernet (it also connects over Wi-Fi).

Set it up in 3 steps

1

Connect the cable

Plug the connecting cable into the port under the Mini's base, and secure it with the included screwdriver.

2

Connect power

Plug the power cable into the hub, then connect the power adapter to the cable.

3

Plug in last, and power on

Connect to a grounded AC outlet last. The Mini powers on automatically — follow the on-screen prompts.

Tip: Save the wall outlet for last and use a grounded outlet so the Mini powers up safely.

Load receipt paper

The built-in printer uses 40 mm (1.5 in) thermal rolls. Open the printer cover on top, drop the roll in so the paper feeds out toward the front, pull a little paper past the cutter, and close the cover.

Care & safety

Important: Ignoring these precautions can cause equipment damage or create a safety hazard.
