Setting up your Clover Station Solo

The Clover Station Solo is the single-screen countertop point-of-sale Arca provides — a merchant terminal paired with a built-in receipt printer. It's the Station Duo without the second customer-facing screen. This guide covers connecting the pieces, powering it on, loading paper, and an optional Flex accessory.

What's in the box

Note: In some regions a region-specific power cable is included for your outlet type.

Set it up in 3 steps

1

Connect the pieces

Place the printer base next to the terminal, then run the provided cables into the connection hub under the terminal base. Secure each connector with the included screwdriver.

2

Connect power

Plug the power adapter into the hub under the terminal base, then connect the power cable to the adapter.

3

Plug in last, and power on

Connect to a grounded AC outlet last, after everything is assembled. The terminal powers on automatically.

Tip: Save the wall outlet for last and use a grounded outlet so the terminal and printer power up together safely.

Load receipt paper

The printer uses 80 mm (3.125 in) wide thermal rolls (up to 83 mm in diameter). Open the printer cover, drop the roll in so the paper feeds from the bottom toward you, pull a little paper past the cutter, and close the cover.

Add a Clover Flex (optional)

A Clover Flex and charging cable can be added to the Station Solo as a customer-facing or handheld companion — these are sold separately. Once you have them, connect the charging cable to the base and dock the Flex.

Care & safety

Important: Ignoring these precautions can cause equipment damage or create a safety hazard.
