Setting up your Clover Kiosk
The Clover Kiosk is the self-service ordering station Arca provides — a tall touchscreen with a built-in card reader and receipt printer that lets your customers browse, order and pay on their own. It arrives mostly assembled, so setup is really just connecting power, switching it on, and loading receipt paper.
What's in the box
- Clover Kiosk — the display, frame, built-in payment terminal and printer, assembled as one unit.
- Power cable.
- Receipt paper — an 80 mm (3.125 in) wide thermal roll.
Set it up in 3 steps
Connect the power cable
Plug the power cable into the power inlet on the kiosk's base.
Plug in last
Connect to a grounded AC outlet last, after the cable is attached to the kiosk.
Switch it on
Flip the power switch on the base. The kiosk powers on — follow the on-screen prompts to finish setup.
Load receipt paper
The built-in printer uses 80 mm (3.125 in) wide thermal rolls, up to 83 mm (3.25 in) in diameter.
- Open the printer compartment on the base.
- Drop the paper roll in so it feeds from the bottom toward the front.
- Pull a little paper out past the cutter.
- Close the compartment — it's ready to print.
Care & safety
- Use a grounded outlet, and plug into power last.
- Keep the vents clear. Don't block the cooling vents on the base.
- Use it indoors. The kiosk's 5 GHz Wi-Fi is intended for indoor use only.
- Don't disassemble or modify the kiosk.
