Setting up your Clover Flex 4 Pocket
The Clover Flex 4 Pocket is the compact handheld card machine Arca provides for taking payments anywhere — it's the pocket-sized Flex, and it charges with a USB-C cable (no cradle needed). This guide covers what's in the box, how to set it up and charge it, and a few care tips.
What's in the box
- Clover Flex 4 Pocket (model C407) — the handheld payment device.
- USB-C power adapter with cable.
Note: In some regions the box also includes plug adapters for your outlet type and a small SIM/PIN tool. If yours doesn't, you don't need them for your region.
Set it up in 3 steps

Connect the cable
Plug the USB-C charging cable into the port on the device.

Plug it in
Plug the adapter into a power outlet to start charging.

Power on
Press the power button on the side, then follow the on-screen prompts to finish setup.
Tip: Give it a full charge before your first day of use, and top it up between shifts so it's always ready to go.
Care & safety
- Use the included USB-C adapter — don't substitute a different charger.
- Keep it dry and clean it with a dry cloth only.
- Don't disassemble or modify the device.
Important: Ignoring these precautions can lead to equipment failure, damage, or heat-related issues.
